I will never ever get tired of watching sunsets at the beach.
When I first visited this amazing place, I instantly fell in love with it. Its gorgeous beach and amazing sunsets are just perfect for that truly relaxing beach holiday.
The fact that it is secluded and far from the chaos of the town, it is perfect for just chilling all day enjoying the sun, the sand, and an amazing sunset to end the day. Lying on the soft sand with a gentle sound of the waves while watching the sun sets on the horizon is comparable to lying on a massage table covered in lavender massage oil.
Before I left during my first visit, I told myself that I will definitely come back, and I did, and I did again… and now, I’m practically living in one of the best islands in the world!
I love seeing it but I don’t want to watch it when I’m all alone and feeling down. Yes, I love sunsets. I can’t resist photographing it no matter where I am; whether sitting on a cab in the middle of the rush hour traffic or sitting at my desk working on some mind-boggling system errors. Well, that was before I moved to where I live and work these days.
So, one afternoon I decided to leave work early and headed to the port (with colleagues who are partly working that time) to watch and photograph the sunset. I’ve seen some amazing sunset photos taken on that part of the shore so I was so looking forward to it. The sun was really shining bright early that day so I was confident that I would come home with amazing sunset photos.
When we reached the port, this is what I found.
I went home a little disappointed that night and promised to myself that I would go back to the same spot. One afternoon in January, friends and I had a little field trip in that area. Unfortunately I didn’t have my camera with me that day but I still managed to take the photo below using my mobile phone.
This is nothing compared to the photographs I saw but at least the sun was there. I’m coming back to that place again, I’m not giving up yet 🙂
