Lunch at the Floating Restaurant

Part of the country side tour package in Bohol is a buffet lunch at the floating restaurant. Before going to Bohol, I was expecting that this floating restaurants are just ordinary rafts with tables and chairs. To my surprise, they are large enough to accommodate around 30 people. There are several dining tables, a long buffet table in the center, and even a singer on board to entertain the tourists while cruising the Loboc river.

Small parties, like us, normally share the table with other tourists and I guess it’s a good opportunity to meet new people.

Well, I can’t say that I enjoyed the food but it was a fun experience cruising the river while having lunch.

There is also a bit of cultural show…
